Formerly International Marketing Supervision Network. Established in 1992, the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network is a membership organisation consisting of trade practices law enforcement authorities of 38 countries, most of which are members of the OECD, with the participation of the OECD and the EU. It operates on the basis of rotating presidency among the member organisations. It operates a scheme for helping consumers resolve e-commerce disputes (Econsumer.gov), and conducts sweep actions to target internet fraud. Its site also contains information about latest examples of internet scams and fraud in the member countries.
